‘Wait & Observe’ is a multidisciplinary collection of works and studies by artists: Francis De Bono (Australia) and Juan Rodriguez (Guatemala). The exhibition has come together with the means to connect and resonate with the concepts of persistence, patience, adoration, and change.
Each work has been created to present these ideas, and create an experience that philosophically, metaphorically and spiritually challenges, widens and enriches the spectator’s gaze of existing, living and being.
Juan Rodriguez, (Juan David Rodriguez Sandoval) is a Guatemalan born, Australian artist. His multidisciplinary practice shows a constant interest in the human experience, and creating fundamental memories. Wait & Observe will be showcasing some of his most recent works in regards to how he visualizes "change" in the contemporary electronic movement, growth of neo-futuristic studies and and artificial ways of perceiving.
Francis de Bono is a multidisciplinary artist from Melbourne who’s work addresses issues of disparity in the relationship of place and travel and encourages an active and conscious engagement of the physical world as it is traversed. Francis’s works are the result of durational and situational research and exist as blurred explorations of a refined artwork and that of an everyday occurrence that has become strange and artificial as a result of repetitive observation.
